Swap 2014 SLE Headlights for SLT w/ LEDs?

From other videos I've seen it seems they both stay on with the Hazards (emergency lights)...Turn signals should kill the DRL

This is correct. When the truck is running the turn signal kills the DRL. They will also stay on when the lights are on and you unlock the doors. I had thought about leaving it that way but in the direct sunlight with the DRL on the turn signal was weak. I figured while I'm at it I might as well make it close to factory as I can.

The ones I found on ebay have really bad scratches or broken tabs...not sure $500 is all that great of a buy in that condition.

Nothing a little wetsanding and buffing cant fix. Well with the exception of the broken tabs. Cheapest I found is here: http://www.gmoutletparts.com/oe-gm/23506753

 

edit: There is also a chrome version of the SLT light so keep that in mind if you're looking used.

Chill out??? WTF dude... what's up with that? I just said my friend can do them a little cheaper. $24 is $24 and better in your pocket than GM's. Nobody said you had to buy them. I just offered. It's the cheapest you will find. So you know what??? Spend an extra $24 and GGF'd. Geez... some people.

You did not consider that shipping on each headlight runs about $37.00. $1610 shipped from mafd2's friend would yield near $100.00 savings. I highly doubt you will find a better deal.

He said out the door with everything the amounts. That means you subtract them to find the difference. See you learn this in about 2nd grade. Guess this is why schools are taking out things like algebra and cursive.

My math..

Headlights $788 each

Core $50 each

Shipping $37 each

=$1750..............his price =$1610, but dont take my word...I cant read or do math!
