Guys, I would like to know what I should offer for truck? One more thing. I'm willing to fly anywhere in the country basically for the best deal!!! Any recommendations? Thank you all who respond

Just to add I will be putting down 15k cash plus whatever I can get with my trade in which is probably around 13k. So in all, I should have 28k. http://www.crownbuickgmc.com/VehicleDetails/new-2016-GMC-Sierra_1500-Double_Cab_Standard_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_SLE-Metairie-LA/2650212813

I like the fact that you liked your own post :) I assume if you have read through this thread that you know you need to check out Laura GMC website. Lots of good results from members on here.

Haha. Was purely a mistake. First time poster obviously. ?

I did see that "Laura" is a good place to start but was wondering if I missed out on few others worth looking at. Maybe get a bidding war going with a few different dealers.

Thanks for replying anyhow.

Just got off the phone with a salesman from Laura GMC.

They will NOT negotiate a different price from what it shows on the Internet. There're set in stone with price. He said that there was a reason I called from Louisiana. Kinda sucks!

Same thing happened to me when I bought from them. Their prices are very good.

If you want a better price wait until October, now is not the time to be buying.

The only problem with that is you have to be negotiable with the options and color you get.

When is the best time to buy a truck? I see above says October? May I ask why October?Been 11 years since I got 1. I'm due. Looking at 4dr gmc duramax Sierra.

Last day of 3rd quarter is a good one, as well as late November,

May I ask why those dates? Not that I'm complaining cause that's around when I hope to move my bred heifers and or that toward a Hefty down payment.

Well last day of third is a big one just because, its also the same time new year models start rolling in, end if November they have done black Friday 20% for the last cpl years

Wen would last day of 3rd be for car business? End of September? Silly question but want to be sure.

Just looked a Laura gmc wow they have some reasonable gas truck prices on new rides. I'm so torn on gas or diesel. It pains me to me decide almost to point I feel like a woman in a pocketbook store

Just picked up a 2016 Silverado midnight edition. Sticker was $53085, price before TTL was $43085 minus another $1500 for a Chevy private offer. Was also able to get 1.99% for 60months through the dealer.

This was in Houston,TX. Really didn't think they'd come close to 20% off as none of the gmc dealers would.

So 43085$-1500$ so 41,585$ for it? Couple Pics please I like the midnight editions but want it in 2500 or 3500 providing price.
