undercoat

it was suggested to me to get an undercoat and after doing some research i'm not so sure. anyone here have there truck undercoated? i'm getting my bed rhino lined this weekend and if necessary planned on having them undercoat it as well. i'm going to be living in florida here shortly if that means anything. thx.

An option for you if you don't want rust proofing which usually requires holes drilled is to spray the underside with a product that inhibits corrosion such as Fluid Film. I've done my mom's Lacrosse since new and the wife's Kia after we got it last year and both still look spotless.

If you are moving to Fla soon. There is no need for undercoating. I take it you are talking about corrosion protection? I live in Ga. I've never had anything extra except what was put on at the factory and have never had any problems.

It looks like shit and God bless you if you ever have to work on something underneath your truck. What a mess!

Florida? You serious man? NO you don't need undercoat. I'm in MA on the other hand and have thought about it....but it seems like the truck already comes w/ an undercoating to begin w/ - reach under neath and wipe your finger on the frame
