Audio question

My truck does not have the Bose system, the audio system seems to be under powered, I have the center console, can I add the center speaker with this system? I would appreciate any suggestions?

I have seen it done on an 05 regular cab. These newer ones I dont know about. You would be better off going with aftermarket parts.

The "center speaker" is a 6" sub that is barely noticeable. Your best bet would be going with aftermarket amp & sub.

If you're determined to put a sub under console and not rear seat, you could in theory make a custom 6-8" sub box to fit, but still for that setup an aftermarket amp & sub are still the best choices.

I posted pics of factory Bose sub+box here:

Thanks for the info and the pictures, does the stock unit have an amp? Is it in the same location?

I have looked behind the rear seat, found no wiring or amp. Is there an amp with the stock system? Is the radio unit the same in Bose and stock trucks? any recommendations on an aftermarket amp and speakers. Looking for better sound quality. I appreciate any help.
