Tranny Capacity

I'm going to do a complete ATF change using the power flush technic.  What I need to know is how much the tranny/torque converter holds together.  Need to buy enough ATF the first time.

Should hold somewhere around 5 quarts for the tranny itsself

Might be more since u r doing the converter

Your owners manual should have it listed under capacities.  I think it is 10-12 qts. though.  5 qts. will refill with just a pan/filter change.

5qts does the pan and filter change. If you power flush at the dealer they will require 14qts for their tranny flush machine. I guess they want to make sure it is completely flushed.
