ASW
Hey guys, So I placed an order for a fully loaded 2014 Onyx Black Sierra Denali. I'm at the point of deciding whether I want to add 22" black 6 spoke LPO wheels on it or leave the stock 20" Denali wheels on. My decision will be based on ride quality. For those who have experience with 22" wheels vs. 20" wheels, what difference did you experience in ride quality? Rougher, stiffer, smoother, better handling, etc... And also, how long do the tires last in terms of milage before needing to be replaced on a 22" wheel vs a 20" wheel. Thank you in advance!
Joe_K
All I can tell you, is during my test drives the 18's rode better than the 20's, but we're in constant construction season around here, so the roads are all shit. The 22's have better tires than the 20's, so you might not notice a ride quality difference.
ASW
Yeah, not really sure tbh. I love the look of the 22"s, especially the black ones with six spokes, but the Denali stock wheels look pretty good too.
BringTheRain403
I have the 22" SEY wheels. My truck rides amazing. Best riding vehicle I've ever owned. They come with Bridgestone Dualer A/T's which are much better tires than the Goodyears. I have friends that have over 50K on their sets of the Bridgestone Dualers. IMO the 22's are with it for the tires alone... Here's mine... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

OP, you should go drive some with both and see what you think.
ASW
I think I'll just keep the stocks. I love the way the black wheels look but I put more importance on ride quality over the looks. I can add them later on if need be, thanks guys!
BringTheRain403
I noticed absolutely zero difference in ride quality over the one I test drive before I ordered mine and mine with 22's... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
