Bufordgsp Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I am hoping one of you guys maybe able to help me out. In my old car I had a Sirius radio in my car that I bought directly from Sirius that used a radio frequency to play the music through the car stereo. I hated having the two components. In my new truck SiriusXM is working awesome. But there is one feature I miss. In the old system I was able to "TAG" an artist or song and when that artist or song came on another channel than I was listening to, I would alerted and given the option to change the channel. Does anyone know if I can do the same thing on Mylink? I see I can tag a song for an iPod. Henry
NitroCherokee Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Press the Tune select button while listening to a song to "TAG" it
fondupot Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Press the Tune select button while listening to a song to "TAG" it x2
Bufordgsp Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 Thanks, I will try that tonight and see if that is the feature I was describing. Henry
Bufordgsp Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Nitro, you were correct, 1. press menu 2. Tune Select 3. Choose either artist or song I don't think you can do that. However I do remember that option but my problem was I could never figure out how to remove the artist. I actually still have that in my sidekick. Under that menu you can manage your favorites and remove artists you dont like. Now if I can only figure out how to get album art, I hate looking at the XM logo. Thanks everyone for your help Henry

I'm baffled at the fact that the layout on the screen is so obviously set up for album art, yet it never gets used for any media type (XM, SD Card, iPhone via cable or BT).
Jon A Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 That's weird. When I test drove one I stuck my own SD card in the slot and it showed album art with the songs it played. This was a Chevy without Nav. Must be some setting somewhere?
