6.2L Still on constraint???

Yes, it certainly does and I ordered my Denali with theh Z-71, however when it was produced it was given Z-60 - same options as the Z-71 minus the Rancho shocks....I sat down with my dealership's GM and attempted to place an order for a Denali with the Z-71 and it was "grayed out" indicating that it was not available and that the substitute would be the Z-60....maybe a shortage of Rancho shocks since there was the issues with some of them leaking and they decided to do a delete until it was resolved ?? Maybe full Z71 will come back shortly - I also saw where they are removing some of the Sierra/Silverado badging on the doors from some trim levels.....chalk it up to first year hick-ups???

Interesting. When was your build date? Distribution update of 10/21/2013 shows " Mechanical section-(Z60) Suspension Package, High-Performance, deleted option entirely."

no....not concerned about the Ranchos at all...we must think alike - I was wondering when the Bilsteins would be available.

Can anybody confirm if the 2015 1500 6.2L or the 8 speed tranny are on constraint. Dealership says yes but nobody at Chevy (corporate) will confirm this. Maybe someone on this forum has insight into this.

They're building them, just not very many of them. And not a lot of dealers are getting allocations yet, but they are building them.

Same info from my dealer.

Could be the 6.2, or it could be the 8 speed that is causing the constraint.

(It's not unusual for ramp-up to start slow in order to get the final touches on tooling and equipment at suppliers and at gm)
