I'm assuming these delays run concurrently?

I certainly hope so! If not, I won't see my truck until the Summer of 2014 if I'm lucky!

I ordered mine the last week in october...and it was produced 10 Dec and is now at the distribution center in Houston. I should have it right after Xmas BTW, it was more than a week ahead of the schedule they gave me.

I ordered GMC Sierra SLT with 6.2 on Oct 28 and was released for build Dec 18th with a scheduled build date of Dec 23. I was told it most likely will be built second week of January.

Just got word that mine was built last week and on the way....according to GM, constraint should be lifted by mid-January??

And I also learned that the Z-71 package is NOT available on the Denali - even the 6.2 - only the Z-60 which is what mine was replaced with....essentially most everything Z-71 has minus the Ranchos.

Current GM ordering guide shows Z71 available on 2014 1500 Denali - and it includes rancho shocks:

Yes, it certainly does and I ordered my Denali with theh Z-71, however when it was produced it was given Z-60 - same options as the Z-71 minus the Rancho shocks....I sat down with my dealership's GM and attempted to place an order for a Denali with the Z-71 and it was "grayed out" indicating that it was not available and that the substitute would be the Z-60....maybe a shortage of Rancho shocks since there was the issues with some of them leaking and they decided to do a delete until it was resolved ?? Maybe full Z71 will come back shortly - I also saw where they are removing some of the Sierra/Silverado badging on the doors from some trim levels.....chalk it up to first year hick-ups???

I got a build sheet from my dealer via e-mail on 12/24 showing a change in the TPW to 12/23. It's a Denali with 6.2 & has the Z71 package shown on it.

They have left the Z71 badges & decals off the Denali & maybe other trim levels I never checked on. When you build a Denali on the GMC website, those are a $100 option.

My build sheet also stated Z-71, however the invoice shows Z-60 - still waiting for GM to respond on this one. And correct, Denalis do not come with decals on the rear quarters - dealer installed option.

Do not, by any means, sweat the loss of the raunchos. As soon as the Bilstein 5100s are available for the '14s slam them on. will cost a little but no big deal as far as a mod cost and much, much better than the stock or the ranchos...
