funny impromtu race today...

Stuck at a rail road crossing, had a newer Mustang with the 4.6 next to me. We are waiting for the crossing guards to lift up and we both start easing across the tracks, I hear him roll into it so I oblige thinking I am going to lose. Nope, by the time the truck got into 2nd I was pulling on him slightly.

 

Surprised me to the say the least, 5500lb truck with 420hp pulling a Mustang with 280hp that weights 3800lbs. The other driver was surprised as well.

 

First and last kid time for me, back to driving like a senior citizen.
