Finally got around to ordering aquapel. Will clean truck tomorrow and apply. Got two of them for just over 10 bucks on ebay. They are cheaper if you buy higher quantities. Of course, pics will follow.

Rain x is ok, but I find glass science glass scrub and rain clear way better, just make sure to clay the glass before applying.

Didn't get to put the Aquapel on. Cleaned windshield and found a pit in it. Only a few months on this new windshield. Gonna get that fixed first.

Small chips are free to get filled. Just need to schedule it. Full windshield was just under 500 last time.

I'm glad Florida has statutes that mandate insurance coverage for replacement windshields with comprehensive coverage.

I could have used insurance, but was cheaper out of pocket than deductible. South Carolina had a 1 windshield a year for free policy with USAA. Sounds like same policy. Unfortunately, not here.

Florida is free replacement and doesn't count against deductible. Same for all insurance carriers. It's a mandated statute..I believe it's a maximum of 2 claims per year.
