different OGM1/XM issue?

Hey, I picked up a used OGM1 unit for my wife's vue recently. When I first installed and addex XM radio, I could not set any presets. Any station that I preset would save a random station instead of the station I was selected. The next day it started working so I forgot about it. I upgraded the firmware the other night and got the same problem afterwards. My wife called me shortly saying the xm was doing the same thing again. So you let's say you have the XM radio on station 12, hold preset1 to save, it will save station 59 instead. but might take you to station 1 when you press it. Wondering if anyone esle has seen this. My mom bought one for her vue that I installed recently also. the main thing she complains about is that the unit always defaults to the nav screen. I did not see a setting in there that would disable that.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm still trying to get one for my truck but wrecking my daily driver did not help me much.. :/

did you "add" XM or just hook up the factory unit?

It's the factory XM. It worked it's self out again though... Very strange. Now to update the maps on it. Looks like I need to call in since it has the old maps.
