Does anyone with a 14 have an in-cab video of their truck with an aftermarket exhaust on it? I am trying to decide and want to see what it sounds like since so many people have mentioned possible drone from V4 mode.

I'll take one for you, I just deleted my Muffler 20 minutes ago

I don't have much drone at all with my muffler delete. I've driven about 300 miles or so and it's no trouble. I'm sure it's much different with a cat back depending on brand of choice.

Ok first video is shorter, Windows down, take off

Muffler delete, resonator delete

Second video, longer, Windows up, take off, then cruising on Highway at 55, 60, 65 trying to show the sound at various speeds

I will say I cannot wait to get rid of active fuel management, I hate that v4 mode and the sound it makes

Are you going to use the Range device or a custom tune. I'm leaning towards Range.

LOL. Can't believe you're revving your truck to over 5500 rpms. Wow.

Uh, if it will do it, no reason to worry if it's every blue moon....factory set that rev limiter

revved my 02 5.3 over 5500 rpms plenty of times... had almost 200k on it and it ran just fine. ran mobil 1 synthetic in it.

I run mine up to just below 6000 any time I get to an open onramp. If GM didn't want the truck to rev that high they'd set a lower redline.
