Got a wild hair up my ass and decided to remove the running boards. Looks much better now. Project for this weekend is to swap the chrome window trim for black ones and the chrome body moulding for body colored ones.

Thanks! They are chrome Moto Metal 951's. 17x9 with 265/65-17 Fierce Attitude M/T tires. Truck has a 2.5" lift from rough country. I'm thinking of going with the 4.75" lift and getting 33s on the 17" wheels. Not sure....

What do the actually lights look like? I'm trying to find an upgrade to my AMP Research steps lighting.

I installed white LED running boards lights today. They come on when my dome lights are on and really light up my running boards. I purchased them from ebay. The listing says that they are 100% waterproof. I installed them in about 30 mins. This is the link..

They really accent the truck.

I took the pic from the listing since I have the same color truck

I can send you a pic of the actual lights off tomorrow. They are super bright in the dark.

cool. thanks.

As another option for running board lights, myself and others have gone with these ones (for anyone else too):

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5M-300-Waterproof-LED-3528-SMD-SUPER-Cool-White-Flexible-Light-Strip-60LEDS-M-/151549378388?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23490bff54

Only 7.99 and free shipping. More than enough to do both sides front to back and have extra. It's wired on both ends so it's quick to wire up. I did these instead of the included amp step lights. I just wired them to the front light connection. They have been through heavy rain, snow, ice and mud and still work great. The 3m tape on them was kind of sub par, so I bought some heavy duty stuff from home depot for a few bucks and put that on and they are solid now. Not saying the lights ctostrowski has are not worth the money, I just have no experience with them and these are a great option to look at as well.

The difference in the lights is the quality. The 3528 led strip are poorly made less light output. Also, the cheap ones are a lower waterproof rating. The listing is IP68 which is made to operate under water. With the poor quality light strip if water gets in they will short out a blow the fuse on your truck..

I used those cheap leds like Texas husker, they been on my truck for almost a year and still working perfect. My truck has been through lots of puddles N some mud baths. Only had to change one led strip.

What front light connection are you referring to?
