So I have a 2013 Chevy 1500 obviously still under warranty and this kid I've been racing has a 2012 f150 ecoboost which I beat him by a lil more then a link and he's been talking about putting dual exhaust on it and saying how much hp it gonna add well looking under my pickup it is quite restricted with all the mufflers how much ho increase would I see on my 6.2

So you are saying keep it as a single which I like cause then it looks stock does that tune leave a footprint in the ECM cause I don't want to void warranty

Turbo motors can see way more of a power gain by a simple exhaust system than a NA motor. The exhaust may look restrictive but the truth is the only gains you really get from a cat back are a nice sound. Not that there is anything wrong with that- I've done a cat back on everything I've owned since I was 16.

Our 2013 6.2s have 3 1/2" piping all the way back from the cat pipes. I can't imagine needing more flow than what that size will give you with factory heads and cam. However I don't know what size goes though the muffler. If you go headers you might pick up more power. Maybe a CAI intake too.

unless you supercharge it or something like that a tune is going to be your best bang for the buck... "True Duals" with an X pipe engineered for maximum HP may add something but don't think you're going to throw a SI/DO flowmaster on there and gain massive HP the stock pipe is quite large for OE and flows well. I'm keeping the stock pipe and adding a Flowmaster but thats more for sound than performance

From what I have seen and read - long tube headers and cats with an Airaid M.I.T. and a black bear tune will give you the most horsepower.
