Backup camera signal type (want to add second camera)

I've been thinking about adding a second backup camera to a trailer I pull, and I was wondering if the factory backup cam input was NTSC (or what signalling it used) so that I can install a switcher that'll allow me to choose either A) the tailgate camera, or B) the trailer camera (if connected). This would be a much cleaner solution than yet another LCD in the cab.

I did see a youtube video from a company providing video input into the factory 8" Mylink display, but it was overridden by the backup camera, so it won't work for my purposes.

Thanks!

If you find out please post.

I've been wanting to add a front camera that would come on when my front parking sensors activate

Also wanted to be able to access the cameras anytime...
