Willie Robertson and Sean Hannity will be at the SOTU tonight. I don't think that they will be doing much applauding however! Willie is the guest of a LA Congressman and Sean will be the guest of TX Rep. Louie Ghomert. I for one don't need anyone to tell me the "sorry" state of our union!

No One in Washington wants to work together and compromise. One Side wants to do what they want, the other side Obstructs everything and in the end we all lose. Give me Clinton, and Dole back any day. they fought and had differences but At least, at the end of the day something got done. (and we had a Surplus)

Everyone knows what the state of the union is. The Rich got Richer and the Poor got Poorer. And guess what. That is not going to change. If anything it is going to get worse. I think you know what side of the equation I am on.

Learn your history. Presidents do NOT create surpluses, congress does. After the libs lost both houses of congress once they shoved the AWB through republicans had a majority in both and Clinton played ball and signed off on their budgets. One side blocks the other because one side is happy with unsustainable spending.

Not at home to see it but I hope he mentions something regarding the propane shortage and what he plans to do about it. This is becoming a real issue in the rural areas on our farms. We are limited to 150 gallons a fill right now and prices per gallon are soaring.

I don't think anyone in DC really cares about the shortage or your problems. I think once they get the price where they want it there won't be a shortage (Anyone remember Enron?). Why is heating oil $.50 cents a gallon more than a gallon of gasoline on the futures market. Same thing. No one in DC cares. And they said the the US produced more oil in the last year than Saudi Arabia. Now if you were able to donate 15 or 20 million dollars to their campaign fund maybe they would be interested in your problem.
