I have been wanting to do this tome truck for a while. I have done a few of these in other vehicles, but now is the time to do mine.

I am installing a viper 5204 remote start with alarm ($99 dollars refurbished with one year manufactures warranty) with a Xpresskit DB-ALL ($50 dollars) with RF loop harness ($10 dollars).

The DB-ALL interfaces into you vehicles computer systems and allows many features to be used with out wiring for instance your door locks, heated seats and more. The module has to be programed specifically for your vehicle. Many online retailers offer free programing but you may not be able to specify options or you can't verify they did what you asked.

Select your vehicle on the top right and conect you module to the flash tool.

Select standard flash is you are installing a remote start alarm, or rsr if you want to enable remote start from factory fob with 3 lock sequences

taped the harness up and crimped soldered on the connector to insert into the junction block. if you look at the body builder manual from gmupfitters.com some of the terminals location list rpo codes for different options. if your truck does not have that option the cavity will be empty and usable for what ever you are adding. this gets harder with loaded models as they have many of those options taking up those spots.
