OEM 6 CD changer.

Anybody know what vehicles these are most common in? Need one for a project. Not necessarily in mint condition but working... and cheap.... really cheap...

Google search shows it as being from a Denali or Escalade. Listings showed it as 99-06 which is strange since there was an interior refresh in 2003.

Check out an '02 Escalade. I think I recall seeing that changer in those beasts, but don't hold me to that. Your best bet is to hop on over to eBay or maybe RockAuto and search for "Escalade 6 CD changer" or something along those lines. After reading item descriptions of auctions for the identical changer, you should be able to track down a part number pretty easily to aid in your search.

Strange indeed. Possibly just incorrect considering that year range spans GMT-400s and both pre and post refresh GMT-800s.

Denali and Escalade had them at the front of the console

Buddy's Denali C3 has one. I bet you they weren't in anything after the 2003 refresh, that's when they went to changer in the radio IIRC.
