Thunk, thunk of wiper blades

I know we've discussed wiper blades already, but ... When my truck was 2 days old (to me) I had the dealer replace the blades as the originals were chattering. I 'think' the new blades may be Anco brand as the dealer had an Anco display in the service area. Anyway, the new blades fixed the chattering but during the recent rains the wipers now make a THUNK when reaching the max point and another THUNK when the go back to the parking point. So I go along with thunk - thunk, thunk- thunk (kind of like wipers did back 25 years ago routinely.

Is this normal for a PU truck? I ask because my 2010 Subaru Outback is totally silent when the blades work. The 1997 F-150 I traded was also silent. W/O the radio ON the thunking is mildly annoying (the radio can drown out the thunking mostly).

Is this something the dealer can correct?

Already explored that link. My issue is with the wiper arms I guess. The actual blades are working ok - i.e., they don't chatter and they clean the glass of rain ok. It seems to be the arm that goes thump or clunk when it reaches the ends of a sweep - goes thunk when it gets to the end of the up swing and then clunk again when the arm goes to the parking position area. Just thunk, thunk, thunk at the end of each sweep.

Is that clearly described?

What I'm questioning, is this dealer correctable or just a fact of windshield wipers on some vehicles that one needs to live with?

ok... sounds like the arm need to be removed and repositioned. If these are like all the years past.. there are notches to get the alignment correct?
