Radio stopped working in HD mode

Was on may way to work this morning listening to the radio and all of the sudden the radio stops working. I tune to another station it comes on for about one second and then nothing. I turn off the Hd and all the stations come through. I wait a little bit turn off the truck turn it back on turn back on the Hd setting and still will not play any station Hd or not. I have also had the issue with my screen going black. Has anyone else had this problem or had it fixed?

I guess you just got here, sadly the HD radio does not work for most of us. Please see the existing HD radio thread, under FM Radio reception fixed or improved.No fix at this time GM will tell you it is working as designed. Please see your dealer for possible fuse,wire or total antennae disconnect as your problem seems extreme.

I always turn my HD off when I get in my truck . The bad part is that it comes back on when you restart the truck.

Hmm, I am in LA, and all of our radio stations come in on HD and work fine.. Maybe because being in the city?

On both of my trucks, when the HD stops then regular FM continues with out any interruption but I can tell HD quality is better. I tested one of my trucks on an out of town trip last weekend. HD stopped working on the two channels I listen to at 100 miles from my home. Regular FM continues to work well for an additional twenty miles. But FM and HD work well in both trucks.
