Windshield wipers stopped working

Recommended Posts

So apparently my entire fuse box is bad and needs to be replaced. SMH... Guess it was cross powering things hence why my headlights turned on instead of the wipers!

I assure you that headlamps coming on within so many minute of wipers is the intended design. I am almost certain there is a paragraph in the manual about it.

Yup...page 6-4 on the Owners Manual...

Lights On with Wipers

If the windshield wipers are

activated in daylight with the engine

on, and the exterior lamp control is

in AUTO, the headlamps, parking

lamps, and other exterior lamps

come on. The transition time for the

lamps coming on varies based on

wiper speed. When the wipers are

not operating, these lamps turn off.

Move the exterior lamp control to P

or;to disable this feature.

Thank you for letting us know what the problem was. I have the same situation. It started after I changed my battery. Looks like I will be having the fuse box replaced.
