I got my projectors and hids installed and while i was in there i took out the reflectors and painted most of the chrome black. So as the title says "new" lights and thought i would share a couple quick pics i took today.

Looks great! And no one on a truck forum should ever complain about a dirty truck, especially in your weather situation.

Do you have any night time pics?

looks nice but i didnt get the cut off line level so when it warms up i will be carfully cutting apart again to fix that and get them aimed down a lil more but the lens on the projectors are hitting the outer lens i think

What brand housings and bulbs are they?

You said your fogs are close to 6k, what Kelvin are the headlights?

Nice look on blacking out the surrounding around the projectors.

Hey I just joined to post on here :)

I want to do the same thing to my LT, but I'm a little scared to retrofit and open up and seal the headlights.

How long did it take, and how hard was it?

Also I was thinking of just putting in the LTZ headlights, I read somewhere here that they are direct plug and play and then just buy the HID kit seperate.

I don't know anything about the 2014 trucks, but there is a thread on here with mods for the GMT900s and it has a full write up on how to do it and there is a couple youtube videos on it as well.

it took me a weekend but would maybe have been shorter if it was warm out. It was pretty easy once i comitted to doing it and the second light was much easier as with most things you learn from what you did before. as for sealing them i do have to take mine apart again to adjust them since they are not perfectly level and the other day when i was looking it looks like my sealant has a few holes in it but i did do the inside and out so hopfully it doesn't get moisture in them.
