spring tuneup

i have a 97 sierra 1500 with a 5.7 that im going to tuneup. ive been neglecting the old girl and thought id treat her right. anybody have any thoughts on the best plugs wires and cap for her. was thinking about throttle body spacer.

x2 on what Won said. OE for ignition stuff and save the money and don't up buy a spacer. They're useless.

thats why i was asking about the spacer heard it improved performance. truck runs great just seeing if anything new out there

I had a spacer on my 94... Came with it... And it was useless.... Pretty but useless

OE style plugs and wires.

 

Change trans filter, change tcase fluid if 4wd, change diff(s), change coolant if more than 3 years old.

Just curious. How many miles on that 97?

I've got about 140k on the clock. lonestar editions are cool trucks came with leather wood grain crazy disco console on ceiling of cab.
