2014 flip kit question

I'm lowering my truck with a mcgaughys 4/6 drop

I have this part that I need to install how do I get rid of the stock one?? It has 2 dead bolts I can't take off... Anyone know how I can get rid of it

  I never liked the choppiness of AFM (or DFM) in my '15 and '20 Silverados and IMO it's worth disabling just for the driving experience alone. I wonder what the actual failure rate of AFM/DFM is.
