Very nice. Love the wheels. I have yet to see the interior in person but it looks light years above the last series

Very Nice. This looks much better than the stock photos of this truck.

those 22" wheels really set it off.

You noticed any issues now that you've had it a while?

No issues to speak of yet, knock on wood. I do feel a little bit of vibration every once in a while from the wheels but I think it is a combination of the road and the thinner tires with the 22's. I'm used to the autoride suspension and the 20" wheels from my '07. I would say the feel of the magnetic suspension is more like a sports car than a truck but still feels soft at times. Overall I love the changes they made with the new model. Only have a few small gripes. One would be that even though the 3rd row folds flat now, there is still roughly the same amount of leg room for that row. I know that the Expedition and Navigator feel very comfortable in the 3rd row for a average height guy. This still feels a bit cramped but at least I'm not taking the seats in and out all the time. One other small gripe is that it didn't come with front tow hooks. Those are now a $200 accessory where they came standard on my '07. And last issue is visibility. The rear window is about 3/4 the height of my '07 and the side windows seem to be much shorter as well. This creates larger blind spots at the side and rear of the vehicle. I haven't driven in heavy city traffic yet but this is going to take some getting used to for sure.

Thanks! The interior is definitely the biggest improvement over the last model. There are storage compartments literally everywhere you turn which is a huge bonus for a family man. There is even a hidden storage compartment behind the 8" screen. Also, they replaced most of the plastic pieces on the dash, doors, and console with stitched vinyl which gives it a much richer/comfortable feel. Of course the MyLink is a great upgrade from years past, but they are still relying too heavily on XM/Sirius and OnStar. The interior also feels more spacious. I do believe there was an increase in wheelbase width and it is noticeable for sure. The leather and the stitching really complete the updated look.

A quick update picture. Got the front windows tinted today. Was planning on doing 30% but they measured the back windows first and it showed 15% which was a surprise as I was expecting 20%. So I went with 20% on the fronts instead and I think it turned out pretty good. I think 30% would have been too much of a contrast...

Yesterday I went ahead and plasti-dipped my front and rear bowties to color match the White Diamond paint, but as I was taping out the bowties I was reminded of how much extra black plastic they added to the front end of these models....so I taped those too! About 7 hours later, I've got a new look to the front end...

As you can see the color isn't a perfect factory White Diamond match, but I am pretty happy with it and I'm not sure you could get the exact color with the combination of sprays that I used. It definitely looks better in daylight...

(sorry for the bugs on the bumper)

I am definitely going to have to redo the bowties. I taped right directly around the gold bowtie keeping it completely taped off from the chrome piece and you can see how when I pulled the tape off some of the edge of the dip came with it too. Next time I will leave a small edge of the chrome showing around the gold. That edge will peel off after the tape is removed. Make sure to watch the youtube video of this being done before you start.

Most your images are broken links. Did you move them to different folders in photobucket

I can see that...shoot. Is there anyway to relink these pictures? The "edit" link is now gone for those posts I made. I still get the "edit" link for the last two posts. Hmmm. Maybe I'll just repost the pics.

Whoever GM hired to do the 20" and especially the 22" wheels for the new trucks deserves a raise or bonus

Good looking truck! still not sold on spraying dip all over a $70k rig but to each his own

Use a hobby knife to cut around the edges. And for all the time you spent, are you wishing you would have just put new ones on? If they aren't out yet it won't be long before the aftermarket paint matched ones are available.
