The new App Store is set to go live later this summer and the 2015 Silverado is listed as compatible. Does anyone know if our current 2015 HD's have the hardware installed to make them compatible...?

I would assume you'd have to swap out the whole nav system to have access to the app store

Doubtful. The newest OnStar system is LTE enabled and it sounds like the current trucks may not be. Given how long/slow communications are when I've used OnStar on my 2011 I wouldn't be surprised if it's still 1X, which is essentially dial-up speed wise.

You'd think it could access through the bluetooth on your phone. I can only imagine what a data package from onstar would cost.
