My Regular Cab Sierra

I know someone posted it a few months back but I can't find the thread- what kind of space is behind the rear seats? One of the most appealing things about the Ram is they have a sizable shelf back there. But after driving one the shelf wouldn't be worth putting up with the design shortcomings of the rest of the truck.

Nice ride. Now, if you could take this truck and throw the 6.2L in it, you'd have something that would surprise a lot of people.

Nice truck!! IMO nothing looks better than a reg cab short box!!! It is a shame we can't get the 6.2 in these!!

Nice truck. I like the bed rails. What brand are they and how did they fit into the rear stake (handles) holes? Were they made for the stake handle holes?

This link will take you to Ground Effects Trucks, a Canadian company that customizes GM trucks right from the factory. A lot of their stuff is a little over the top but I like the box rails. They have some interior Carbon Fibre stuff to that looks good! They also make the Duck Commander truck!

Talk to Melanie on the order desk and she will get you what you need! But she also told me that GM are now using these as there part numbered box rails so GFX has been working double duty to fill orders. It took 6 weeks to get mine from Ontario! Available for both 5.8 and 6.0 box lengths.

PS: Thanks for the comments on the truck! By far the best GM truck I have ever owned..........so far! Only 1300 km on it.hahahahha

Love the tightness of the reg cabs! Very solid little truck! Lovin the Katskins and also the 40cents per litre Petro Canada gas card! Saving about 35 bucks a fill!

Sad news to report on my little truck! It got wacked with golf ball size hail last night and needless to say I am beside my self! In my whole life and 20 plus vehicles I have always managed to dodge this menace but I guess my luck ran out!

Many of us on the website are what most people say are "anal" about our cars and trucks! I would fit into that category! While my house also sustained damage my wife and I were brought to tears over the damage to the truck! I am hoping paintless repair will fix it up! There are a couple of excellent local repair places here were I live so I guess I have to place the "Little Sierra" in there hands!

Bigger question! Two car garage and three vehicles! Is it time to get rid of the Vette? Can't afford a bigger house so .....................

Nice looking truck, man. Glad to see there are others who like the regular cab, short bed. Maybe it wont go the way of the dinosaur if there are enough of us... I love the leather. I'm thinking of putting leather in myself, but just dropped a few grand on other stuff so it'll have to wait. And I agree with the other guys about the 6.2L engine. I would love it if GM didn't treat the regular cab guys like the red-headed step children of the truck world and gave us all the same goodies as the other trucks.

You can confortably fit a standard size bottle of windshiled washer fluid behind the seat standing up. Anything bigger than that is a no-go. Behind the center has a little more room, but not much. I have jumper cables, ice scraper/snow brush, emergency medical bag with ample supplies, and a 4-way tire iron mostly behind just the passenger seat. So it's not bad.

Thanks, man. I assume you mean the blue one? It's a great color. You don't see many of them, and it's nice and deep but bright in the sunlight.

That's the one! I've really fallen for that blue, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available on the 2015's. Hopefully the new blue is just as good.

question for Likarok and other Canadian members.

You said you went on GM Canada search and located the exact vehicle? when I build and price then save to my showroom, it asks me for my postal code and only lets me search what my local dealer has, and only the trucks they have. Is there a way to build the truck to my exact options ive selected and do a search and try to locate the exact vehicle I Built? obviouslty Id go directly to that dealer and negotiate since the exact truck I want is on there lot rather than having my local dealer ordering one.
