I hope that turns out to be true. As long as I can keep the rust away that shouldn't be a problem.

Just about finished up now. Tightened up all the bumper, and hitch bolts, and mounted the trailer plug bracket. Have to get some bulbs, and a few bolts to mount the plug then I'll have it finished up tomorrow.

That's lookin' good, Mister!

Did you have to replace the spare tire hanger, or were you able to just Chassis Saver it?

Thanks. I just painted it with Chassis Saver. It wasn't really that bad rust wise, and it still reeled up and down pretty easy.

Picked up some new bulbs for the tails, and stainless bolts, washers, and lock nuts to bolt up the trailer plug. I'll get a few pics tomorrow.

Very nice. This is rolling along a whole lot quicker than any of my projects. And my projects are all easy honey do's...

Haha! It's about to slow down though. Have to buy a house early next year so most of the extra money will go toward that fund soon.

I can somewhat relate. It brought an end to my 6.2L Silverado. Payment was just too high for the way things worked out.

Finished up this morning. Took it for a 20 or so mile drive, and boy does it drive a lot better. Power delivery is much better on slight hills, and pulling out from a stop. Can't wait to get the front end all fixed up. This thing will drive like a dream after that.
