You weren't kidding about super fast delivery!

And it's interesting how the bottom mounting points are very different from mine. My front shocks have two little perches that stick out and those are attached to the underside of the bottom control arm.

What shocks do you have up front right now?

Hmmm I wonder why there different? The ones that are on it now are I'd imagine the original ones because of how they look. I haven't looked close enough though to notice how they mounted.

On 2wd they go through the spring at the center of the a arm, on 4wd they mount a little differently

Today I replaced my broken drivers side DL3 mirror, with a used DL3 mirror I bought from a member over on the GM Fullsize Forums.

It's nice to finally have an unbroken mirror that works properly. The old ones glass wouldn't stay adjusted so something inside must have been broken. This new one is even quieter in operation.

Cool, now hurry up and get that bed back on. A truck needs it's bed too you know...lol

Haha! I'm trying man! Lol! Going tomorrow to pick up a fuel pump, and hopefully I'll have the bed back on this weekend.

Sweet, I need to work on getting my bed off for the fuel sending unit. I have one bolt that apparently is stripped out but won't come out. Of course it's on the driver side so I still can't get to the top of the tank. Worst case I'll lift the truck and drop the tank. All I really want to do is check grounds first before I go replacing anything.

Yea getting the bed off is cake as long as the bolts are okay. I'm surprised mine were.

I'm not sure if the early gmt800's didn't have the plastic between the doors or if mine was removed by the first owner, but knowing my truck it was the latter. I'm also missing a right tweeter. lol

Couldn't tell you. I was surprised to find that they didn't use any of those stupid plastic door panel clips that always break. I remember them being on the GMT900 trucks so I figured that these trucks would have them too. I'm glad that they don't.

Late to the party, but lot's of great work going on in here. That truck will be better than new.

I'm hoping so. I like being able to make it my own.
