Hey everybody. I'm having an issue with my 04 Z71 with the auto dual climate control. The a/c has never worked all that well but it has completely quit working now. I was thinking it was low on freon so I was going to jump the low pressure switch but I do not have any power going to the connector. I checked a few fuses that I thought may be the problem, and switched one of the relays but that did not solve anything. I am thinking it might be the control module but was wondering if anybody had any advice before I spend the money on a part that I am not sure will fix it.

you have to do a few more steps than what you've done before shotgunning parts at the truck ,,,

you should at least have a shop hook up the a/c machine ,,,,they will do their thing and add dye if low and you will have to return for the black light thing,,

you can have the HVAC module scanned if the schematic shows the module controlling the low switch ,,,

you never said that you used a schematic to find fuses ,,,,,,you HAVE to use a schematic with all electrical concerns ,,,,ya hear that everyone !!!!!

please let us know what happens so a/c challenged people can learn lol

Get ready to bend over... ;)

Take it to a quality shop and have them take a look at it before you begin assuming things.

I thought I just needed a compressor and ended up needing the whole kit plus compressor and belt. Compressor was siezed and crap was spread through the entire system. But now I have an awesome ac system that was worth every penny.

It is showing an accurate outside temp. I believe I'm going to bring it to my uncle's shop this week and let him look at it.
