RPO question g80/YD3

My RPO shows g80 and YD3. obviously the g80 is a locker but why do i have the YD3 code? YD3 comes up as "Differential, driver-selectable locking rear"

RPO codes are sometimes re-used. You don't have a selectable locker. A search said that the YD3 code also pertains to a specific GVWR/GAWR classification.

I know, dead forum thread. But I found on Google so maybe others will. How do you find out what is the base equip for your gvwr? Move is 7100 lbs, so what is my front axle ratio?????

Front ratio will match rear ratio. your RPO codes will tell you ratio
