4.2 inch display warning

I have the 4.2 in non touchscreen display in my 2014 Silverado. Everything I start up my truck, a warning comes up on it about (and I'm paraphrasing) Warning: taking yours eyes off the road for too long is dangerous. It won't automatically disappear, you HAVE to hit ok to to clear it off the screen. It annoying to have to do this EVERYTIME I drive somewhere. Does anyone have the 4.2 non touchscreen display? If so, does y'all's always show that warning?post-126905-0-02060600-1400744371_thumb.jpg

I have seen the warning only one time and it never has come back.

Will it disappear if you put the truck in gear and drive?

That's really annoying. I know with the bigger 8" screen I don't have any warning like that at all. Only if you are trying to input an address in the NAV screen while moving.

Maybe pull the fuse on the radio and see if it resets.

I only get that warning when I am trying to use the NAV unit after the initial start up.
