How to reduce wind noise?

The top of the doors have the usual wind noise and I'd like to do something about it soon since I have a long trip planned in a months time.

I have some loose weather stripping which will be fixed, but aside from that are there any other little things I could do? Additional weather strips glued on to create a tighter seal?

On my 03 2500hd, I needed to "tweek" the upper door frames back tighter to the body. I dont suggest this but I helped mine alot! I held the door open with a 2x4 (just the 1 1/2 width in the frame) and pushed the upper frame (window all the way down) in a bit (*tweeked). Pulled the 2x4 and shut the door. Dont do this with the window up and dont do too much.. Bad things can happen...

If the noise is bad there may be an underlying problem. Like a worn out latch, or pin. Something else to check is see if any of the noise is coming from the rear windows, mine made noise.

Its not terribly bad but I would like less white noise for the sake of passengers. I'll fix the seals asap and report back.

And my dads 06 is quieter on the same tires so that is always a comparison in the back of my mind.

If the rear windows are making noise it's nice to glue them shut, I couldn't believe how much quieter it was with just one done.

No i believe its just the front doors where they meet the roof. And its not too bad but I'd like to get it quieter especially for when there are side winds.
