chewy22 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I used a hypertech speedo calibrator - only a calibrator not the "tune" version. It worked perfect, exact match with gps at all speeds. My dealer told me they could not do it. I'm certain the dealers that are changing the calibration use the hypertech or something similar.

My dealership uses these hypertech programmers and installs them on their lifted trucks. The service manager said it will not alter or void your warranty. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Joseraya Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Buy the Abbot Electronic Ratio adapter (ERA). Mainly used for gear ratio changes and abs light and warning light fixes. I just installed one today because I went from 3.23 to 3.73 and had my abs light on, warning chime dinging 34 times, and service brake system warning light on.
Joseraya Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Wow does the (ERA) get installed at the vss at the tranny or ecm or tcm
