2014 bumper installed on 2013 silverado

Anyone try the front bumpers? I'm looking to upgrade to a painted bumper for my 2008 2500hd Silverado and came across a 2015 2500.??

What year is the truck you installed the step bumper to? I am trying to install the same bumper onto my 2500 Silverado 2013, but the Holes on the brackets from the new bumper dont match with old Holes on the old brackets and that makes the holes from the chasis not align With new bumper holes except for the very top bolt that one went in well. Im thinking of just drilling half new half in holes on to the bracket and call it a day since the bumper didn't “bolt on” directly. I also read the bed size on the 13 where different size from the newere models and that could be my problem. If I could get some feedback. Thank you

I work in a GM dealer bodyshop and have been thinking about trying this for some time and had to wait until the day arrived I had bumpers off of both gen trucks at the same time. a complete bumper kit is available from gm but keep in mind some modification will need to be made to the license plate harness as the plug is different. your old backup sensors may work the mount holes look similar as well. The only other thing I should point out is that the hitch no longer mounts under the center of the bumper as the 14 no longer uses the hitch bar reinforcement. all that is under the 14 bumper is the hitch itself. This should not affect the strength of the hitch as it seems it was more of a support for the bumper assembly itself as the last gen was a lot more flimsy. hit me up with any questions or if you want other pics.

How did you modify the plug for the License plate? My replacement bumper is off a ‘17 and I’m putting it on a ‘12. The ‘17 has a single connector while the ‘12 has multiple. Was that the case for you?
