Rear end

Ok so I have an 05 gmc sierra 4x4. I recently shredded the rear end and now I'm having trouble finding a matching rear end. Its a gu6 (3.42 gear ratio) w/o quad steer. G80 locking differential. I can find a rear end matching those specifications but my problem is the jf7 braking. Its drum brakes as apposed to disk. Is there a way I can put a rear end with disk brakes instead? Or does it have to have drum?
