Swapping SLT grille for Denali Grill

If there is a thread out there forgive me in advance.

Im wanting to swap out my SLT grille for a Denali grille in my 2014 Sierra. Dealer says I need the whole assembly to make the swap. My question is could I just get the denali insert while using my chrome frame and the black plastic backing from my original grill.

Sorry if this is confusing! Its the only way I know to explain it.

By the way a complete Denali grille from the dealer will cost ya 971.00

You can only buy it as a whole assembly unfortunately.

You may want to ask MotoMedic about his. He swapped his out well before the Denali was even an option. So I'm pretty sure the insert is available separately. But don't quote me on this.

I just picked up a whole Denali Grille on Ebay for $400 (Was off a truck but brand new). Seems like a decent deal. Should get it next week hopefully.

Thats an awesome deal! dealer cost on the complete grill assembly is 670. Just did a search and didnt see any others out there sadly

So I received the grill finally. Small issue though. It is for a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500/3500. Took my old grill off and this one is way too big. Anyone need a Denali Grille for a 2015 Sierra 2500/3500?
