No Nav No GPS

Wondering if anyone has come up with this before I take to dealer.
Out of nowhere my Navigation has stopped working. It shows the map screen and still has all the options available. The issue is that it shows the vehicle being somewhere random. One day it was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the next day it was in Maryland, another day it was in Ohio.
I haven't left the New York City area. Up to this point it has worked fine. I've used it a few times to navigate to destinations and no issue.
Now its just lost itself it seems. I'm sure part of the same issue but the silly compass thing in the center display has also stopped functioning and now shows only hash marks but not specific direction. On the nav screen in top right corner there is a small box with "GPS" and a red line across similar to a no smoking sign.
The antenna is still on the roof (assuming its the black antenna) and everything else seems to be working. Truck did not sustain any roof damage or windshield replacement. Has a couple thousand miles. All was working well until this.
Anyone know if there is some type of "reset" procedure?
Its bizarre that it would just stop working out of nowhere yet still everything else works fine no?

Before scheduling I figured I'd check and see if anyone had similar issue.

Sounds like it might have a faulty GPS module.

My truck did this exact thing NEW off the lot, I was so worried about cosmetics and drivetrain I never tried it. Ran threw some b.s. test with GM Infotainment with no luck, brought in to dealer and I had a bad "Human to Machine Interface Controller" Swapped it out and its perfect
