2000 SILVERADO ABS SENSORS

I had the problem with my abs engaging at 10-5 mile range, i replaced both front abs speed sensors and checked for ac induction on the sensor and continuinty on wiring harness back to the abs brake modual, which checked out good. I still have the same problem?????? i was told by the dealership that the computer needs to be flashed after replacing these sensors, is this true or am I missing something? THANKS

I will never understand why no one just replaces the whole hub on an older vehicle... Do that and it will be gone.

thats funny thats exactly why i did it......."TO SAVE A BUCK". The reason i didnt was where ever you look it says its just the sensors. if i would have look around a little better i could have bought the hubs with the sensors for the same price i paid for just the sensors only from a local auto part store. Trust me it would it would have been just as easy to change the hubs with the sesors as to change just the sensors.

Also when replacing the hubs make sure you use good ones. Or you will be doing it again in a short period of time.
