flyboyron Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I get out of my truck and close the drivers door and find bright turquoise colored gum strands all over my front mud flap, fender, and door. I have to wait until I get off work to clean it off. What is the best thing to use?
Mike-1000 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I would try some plain old ice in a zip loc bag. Hold it on the gum until the gum gets hard and see if you can pop it off. You might have to do a little at a time to get it cold enough to harden. Mike
flyboyron Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 I came home and tried some of the Goo Gone. It came off so easy with that stuff. Then I rinsed everything off real good with water. Then I have some car wash soap with wax in it, and put some of that on a towel and washed the whole area real good. I then rinsed it off. It will be ok until the next time I wash it and have the truck waxed. Thanks
