TPMS System ??

Ok I have been in the shop 3 times.... the "Service Tire Pressure Monitor System" lights up the DIC and the light comes on after approx. 20 minutes of driving. the shop has changed the L/F sensor twice with a Dorman Aftermarket. It shows a reading most of the time but does show lines when that message comes on... They are now at the point where they are asking me to live with it instead of going further... not sure if that is an attempt to not eat the cost of the sensors and repairs I have paid if It was a misdiagnosis (I never went there or anything) or they don't know whats wrong....

any ideas on what else you experts typically see with this?

I should say I never had a problem until they installed a factory 2 way remote start. I Understand this is the same module that runs the TPMS....

Or, could two dorman sensors just be bad?

Thanks For the help

Dorman isn't noted for it's high quality components, so anything's possible.

I've got 2 year old Dorman remote oil filter lines on a '00 4.3 in my '89 S10 Blazer that leak like a sieve, until the oil heats up.

Don't know what other choices are out there besides OEM .... and I can only imagine what those cost.

Maybe there's an alternative to both ...

If you have any aftermarket electronics it can interfere with the TPMS. Cell phone chargers, USB to cigar lighter adapters, aftermarket HIDs ... anything.
