Replace factory 20" wheels with 17" wheels?

2011 Silverado. It came with the optional 20" wheels. I had the dealer run a build sheet from the VIN number. It has JD9 - BRAKES, 17" DISC/DISC. Would this prevent me from switching to factory 17" wheels? If so how about 18"?

I think they came with the option for 17", 18" and 20" wheels. Pretty sure you could put any of those sizes on....

You can go down to 17s with no issue. Brakes are no different with bigger wheels.

Thanks for the info. Must be old info in the RPO listing for JD9 meaning 17" disc brakes, maybe Corvette or Camaro had that RPO in the past.
