2015 Remote Entry Key Fob

I just took delivery of a 2015 2500HD LT 6.0 CC 4X4 Z71. This is my fourth 2500HD. The key fob on this new truck is backwards from any key fob I ever remember. I thought key fobs always had a domed button for unlock and a dented in button for lock. This button configuration allows you to use the fob without looking at the fob. The key fob on my new truck locks by pushing the domed button and unlocks by pushing the dented button. I wonder why the change? Or do I have an odd-ball key fob?

It's sure an ugly key fob . .. . . I haven't got mine yet, but my dad has one. Ugly. Don't know about the backwards buttons but that wouldn't surprise me.

It's the same on the one for my '14 1500. Not a big deal really.

Yep opposite on the "doming." Doesn't bother me one bit heck didn't even give it thought till I read this post.

Must be a 2500 thing or something. All of the GMs I've had over the years that had keyless entry just had a big round button and a smaller oval button for unlock/lock. The fob for my truck is so worn that there is no pictures left on the buttons but after almost 9 years of use I don't even look at it. I know which button is which.
