Hey guys, I searched around with no luck. Is anyone here running fox 2.5 coilovers leveling kit? Also what is everyone's opinion on these? I'm interested in this setup but hard to find anyone's experience and if it's worth the money. My first truck and I'm getting addicted modifying it.

I had them on my last truck ( 2010 GMC Sierra ext-Cab 2w/d) and to be honest save your money and just by a simple level kit. The money you would spend it not worth it. I ran the fox 2.0 coilovers first and then i had one of them break because the people that adjusted them didnt know what they were doing. So i sold those and then ordered the 2.5 non res ones and i liked them, but i didnt really notice that much of a better ride. if you really want to level your truck the right way that is the way to go, but its not really worth the money you would spend.

Thanks for the advice, I researched around on other forums with guys running them on different trucks and Jeeps and swore its a night and day difference, but I'm a believe you on this, hard to justify the price tag. I may of bought it though if you backed up saying its was worth the money.

I didn't really notice that much of a difference.. I have never had a set prior either.. And nor can I that another brand is better... What it really comes down to is if you want to spend that much $$$$ on them then do it , It's your truck so don't worry about what anyone thinks or says... Make your truck yours... And a side note too I only had them installed for like 3 months too.. Like I said it's the right way to level your truck but there are less expensive ways to get the same effect... Personally on my new truck I am going to go with a level kit from ready lift. I think it's called the sst 2.5 level kit.. But that's coming much later..,

Fox (and King) are high quality race equipment for sure. King just a few miles from my work. I've resisted the urge to stop by. Being an engineer with machining and manufacturing background, they are just calling my name. I wish you guys would just quit posting about these so I can forget them. :banghead:Emoticon_suicide.gif

These are way more than I need. I don't "off-road" in the sense that I go fast while off-road. I just tool along the trails to and from birdhunting spots because I'm always concerned about doing something bad to my truck out there. So, I don't need extra reservoirs, cooling, Teflon end joints, etc.. I just want nice valving for my normal driving on the highways, streets and trails. On my last truck, I had Bilstein 5100s on all the corners. They were about perfect for my driving. I'll probably be able to resist the urge to go down to King. Besides, I just spent a big wad on Wilwood brakes.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I forgot to mention I had the dealer install a 2' RC level along with 33' Toyo MTs. Definitely can notice a harsher ride quality from stock (Mostly the tires I believe) but I do love the tires enough to look into a suspension level kit and see your opinions on what I should go for.

& I'm on the same page as you spurshot. I'm in Florida so no high speed Baja style driving here. I do live in the open country though where the backroads are rough, potholes in the pasture, etc. I crawl over things rather than speed through them. Current setup has my truck bouncing more than I like lol.

I'll checkout Bilstein and King and compare them.

Off topic, that parking lot in your sig looks familiar. Northrop Grumman, Redondo Beach?

Throw Camburg in the mix also. I had them on my 2013 and loved them. I am not a high speed offroader but they made a huge difference even in everyday driving on the horrible Louisiana roads which is pretty close.

Costco, Skypark, Torrance. Looking east, Skypark is on the right, parallel to the truck, the store is on the left out of the picture. 7:00 a.m. ish. Wife is at TRW Redondo

Ah okay. Well if you see a random dude beep at you sometime, it's probably me. I'm sure we'll bump into each other on the roads eventually. I also work at NG, live in Pedro. In RB all the time.

I know this post is a little old but when doing a search on the forum this is the only post that comes when searching for Fox 2.5s.

I'm curious if anyone has an idea of what it would cost to install a set of Fox 2.5s and cognito UCAs along with a 3" differential drop kit?

I'm also going to have rear Fox 2.0s and 2" blocks installed so I would be interested in what you paid to have either the front, rear or both installed.

Thanks

PS: If you don't have the cost, labor hours needed would be helpful also
