tire pressure light

Do any of you know how to shut off the tire pressure light? Keeps going off and there all the same.

Check your tire pressures with a hand gauge make sure they are all correct. Could have a bad sensor or another fault if its not just the pressure.

Is there a way though to just reset the light so it's not on my dash? If it's the sensor that's not cool it's like 100$

If they are all the same pressure....are they close to the specs for the original tires/sensors?

The door sticker on my HD wants 60# front and 80# rear. I can't run all four at the same pressure (without a light on) because something will be too far out of the required pressure range. I usually get a light when the weather cools down because I try to run them a few pounds lower than the sticker info. I'm not sure how much leeway they allow but I thinks it's somewhere in the +/- 5# range. Maybe one of the tech guys knows for certain.

You can't shut it off.

A dealer can ..... but good luck getting them to do it.

Put new sensors in the wheels.

What's another couple hundo at this point.

You could always put tape over it..... [emoji12]

Ran across this old thread, you can very much shut the light off lol.

I bought a obd2 delete frkm DTDiesel autosync, for the price of a set up sensors and its stays off for the life of the vehicle and ontop of that my aftermarket nav/dvd player integrates with all factory options and I can re-adjust the psi thresholds from 80-45 psi and rotate tires simply pressing 2 buttons.

P.S. tpms is not legally mandatory here in Canada
