Ipod not working correctly?

I have an I-pod hooked up to my 2015 Silverado and the songs will play and show up fine so the My Link is communicating fine with device. However after it plays the song selected and moves to the next song the display screen information stays the same. (IE) Song artist, name, album & album cover. This will stay on the screen no matter how many different songs it plays. Now it will fix itself if I skip a song or go into a different menu, it seems like the My Link system will not pull the new information when it picks the next song.

 

Anyone else having this issue?

What type of iPod? Not all versions are supported. Your manual should list supported models.

I experience the exact same issue, as you described, on my iPhone.

I know people were having issues with iOS8 and MyLink functionality. I know in my 2015 rental I had the other week it would only charge my phone. Only way to do audio was via bluetooth.

The Mylink has almost completely quit on me now it will not play anything the radio works but the buttons are have a serious lag and the display is not showing all the information.

 

What a POS radio they put in these new trucks!

iOS 8 has been giving iPod/Bluetooth issues since releases and apple is suppose to be aware of it. Hopefully they release a fix on the nxt update. Not sure if iPods run on same iOS though.

I have iPod 4th and 6th gen. Both work very well and advance songs as they should. Song info and album art also change. My only issue is that shuffle is the default and will change to shuffle off but back to shuffle when I restart the vehicle. Going to the dealer next week.
