Hi Everyone, got a brand new 2014 Silverado LT. 5.3L, leather, 8inch screen, all star package. LT1 trim, I believe.

 

I use these forums a lot, such a great place to share info. Looking foward to getting a leveling kit, bed liner and matching tint windows soon!!!

Anywho, Hello! Just got a brand new 14 Silverado LT LT1/AllStar/Leather/5.3L. Pretty stoked, these are really nice trucks. Coming from an 04 F-150. Talk about an UPGRADE!!!

Thanks to everyone else for the welcome! I'll do my best to read through the exsisting posts for some newbie questions before I start asking.

 

Also, I've leveled/lifted and put new tires on enough rigs I promise you won't get those questions from me...bwhahhaha

nice truck, ive seen a couple of them around here.

go with a spray in liner, ive had the plastic drop ins before on my last truck and first thing i did before picking up my 14 sierra was have the dealer pull out the OEM plastic and do the spray in.

Welcome and my last truck also was a "Ford"06 F150XLT 4x4 and my 14 Silverado 2WT I feel Was a major upgrade for me to even going down in packages .

This Silverado is very impressive and my 4.3 v6 feels stronger then my v8 f150 with a tune , intake and cat back exhaust lol . I'm sure gearing has a lot to do with it but man this truck is so quiet and has more then enough power for my needs .

I wish that was my garage! It will still at the dealer for that pic. Any yes, spray liner all the way. Would never do a drop in. Look like garbage and trap moisture between the liner and bed....rust rust rust.

SUPER Quiet. I forgot when I"m even on the freeway. Read one review that was comaring the interior decibel level in the new silverados to a higher end Lexus LS series....
