Looking at New Shocks and Removing Leveling Kit

Recommended Posts

I have a 2007 NBS GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 CrewCab Short Bed. Had it for almost 3 years and about to hit 100k. Previous owner installed a Daystar leveling kit tht put a spacer on the top of the strut.

I am seriously thinking about removing the leveling kit but do have concern over the shortened strut mount bolts that were shortened in order to put the new Daystat spacer stud/bolt onto the exsisting bolt. DayStar claims there is enough bolt left and it would not require replacing the Strut Mount.

Any there any other options I should consider such as replacing the hole strut assembly?

As far as shocks go:

Front 24-188227 BIlstein

Rear 24-186841 Bilstein

Any issues with those shocks??
