I have to say that I was surprised how well the factory tires (Firestone Roadforce) behaved in fresh snow and on compacted snow.

Last winter I drove over the Rockies to Alberta and back and didn't have no trouble at all. The automatic 4x4 played a good part too I guess.

 

Regardless...they will never be as good as any winter tire.
